1. INCITING INCIDENT

After their plan is sabotaged, Indy (Harrison Ford), Short Round (Jonathan Ke Quan), and Willie (Kate Capshaw) crash land in India where they are led to a poverty stricken village. Believing Shiva has sent Indy to help them, the village elder tells him an evil darkness is rising and that Indy must travel to Pankot Palace to retrieve a sacred stone that was stolen from them along with all the children in the village. 2. LOCK IN (End of Act One)

Later that night, a child stumbles into the village near death and gives Indy a piece of parchment which upon closer examination reveals that the missing stone is actually one of the fabled Shankara Stones. When Short Round asks him what the Shankara Stones are, Indy smiles, the thrill of adventure in eyes, and says, “Fortune and glory kid. Fortune and glory.” Indy, Short Round, and Willie then set out by elephant through the jungle to retrieve the sacred stone from the Pankot Palace. (00:29:45)

3. FIRST CULMINATION (Midpoint)

After witnessing a ritualistic sacrifice in which Mola Ram (Amrish Puri) pulls a man's heart from his chest with his bare hands, Indy swings across to the altar and retrieves three of the Shankara Stones. He then discovers the missing children who are being forced to work as slaves in the mine. Indy confronts one of the slave masters but is captured along with Short Round and Willie. (1:08:18)

4. MAIN CULMINATION (End of Act Two)

After nearly killing Willie and Short Round while under the influence of the Blood of Kali. Indy defeats Mola's henchmen and retrieves the Shankara Stones. Together, Indy, Willie, and Short Round free the children before confronting Mola and his men. (1:29:18).

5. THIRD ACT TWIST

Indy and Mola battle for the stones while dangling from the remains of a rope bridge over crocodile infested waters. Indy tells Mola he has betrayed Shiva and starts chanting. The Stones glow red hot and begin to burn through the Indy's bag. Two fall into the river, but Mola grabs the third which burns hand sending him plummeting to his death just as Indy manages to grab the stone. (1:48:00)
